that is my ideal #1 conversion but v6 boras are rare as hens teeth and in 2 years of watching every auction there hasnt been a single wrecked one go through

yup thats right. the 4motion system can be adapted to fit the mk2

Can't believe the Golf 4Motion was never sold in Australia, and the the Bora's are so rare.
Have you spoken to Matt aka Golf Loon about maybe getting one shipped from the UK in one of his containers?? If you kept it 2wd you could use a VR6 Gearbox, so just need the engine, ECU and loom....
I want one for the Rado too.
