So this is where i am at as of today,3/8/2012 out of its rest place and a bit of a wash and into its new home for a bit more room for work.
full boot carpet which is due a good clean
i originally got a washer bottle from an opel combo van as its small and can mount it almost anywhere
but in the meantime i found an early 85 golf with one of these.
ive been trying to find one for ages!!
rear screen washer bottle B-) ,with motor, you can see the motor on the opel bottle
and whats better is its a direct fit into the jetta boot!
i also have a mk5 battery box going into the boot on the other side.
i will be taking out the front subframe now during the week and other various bits and pieces to get powder coated, including all the motor mounts, rad support and the modified alt and powersteering brackets and mk4 powersteering pump.
lookslike its going to start to look like a car again very soon.
sorry bout the poop pic,the lense on my camera is cracked, also got a rear spoiler.....which im in two minds about now?
started again at this today, removing the subframe, wishbones, rack etc..
a few more bits to get powdercoated.
pulled off the wing to get the rest of the welding done in the battery tray
got these a while ago to fill a few holes
and give these a freshen up also
its also getting new bushings all round for the whole front end.
thats how it sits tonight,8/8/2012gona try keep at this now that i have a bit of room to mess about with.
so here we are bang up to date as of tonight,9/8/2012
drilled out the rest of the old one.
hopefully have this welded up over the weekend.
also gona stick in a powersteering res from a mk4 into the inner wing somewhere here and just have the cap sticking through the battery tray.just have to make the hole a little bit wider.
and going to take off the clamp for the battery while im at it.
you can see here that the copy part isnt an exact match but its going to work out though
once the tray is in,im going to start to remove all the sealer in the bay,not really looking foreward to that but its gota be done!
so any comments, good or bad please feel free to add em,i would be interested in youre input as im going along to give me some ideas!
you aren't mucking around are ya mate! Keep the updates coming

heres a link to the site,i had it custom made by these lads,it cost about 350 euro from what i can remember
and about a 4 week waiting time but its well worh the money and the headache to make my own.
just going to remove all the sealer for the moment,i was going to remove the rain tray but decided against it in the end,and fill as many of the holes in the bulkhead i can.
you can see here where i had to heat up the inner wing to get it to meet the tray.
it took a fair bit of time and hammering and fettling and heating up the inner arch but got the fitment spot on in the end.
nice day for it!
bear in mind that when all the welding is done,im going to go over the whole lot with a skim of filler to fill up some of the inperfections in welds, like the ones in the tray,as they were welded from underneath.
it just got a quick coat of primer to stop the rust until its painted...so all in all a good evenings work done,it was always letting down the car, well i always thought so anyway,so plenty more to be done during the week again.
