  • Oil Smokin' Mk2

So before replacing my Valve Cover Gasket (including replacing 3 knackerd studs) i cleaned the many moons of oil that had leaked down behind the valve cover near the fuel injectors. The oil leak appears to be fixed however I think while cleaning off the excess oil it has dripped down onto the manifold and now there is a lot of oil burnin (whitey blue smoke) coming from under the intake manifold, I assume this is just oil burn, but should i just let it burn off or try and clean it off somehow? where are the likely places that would need attention.

Ive had a bit of a search on this around about and this is usually the case however someone mentioned it could be an exhaust manifold leak but it doent look like it, any thoughts?

    Cheers
