No that's not my mk2. You can get a monte carlo wheel with a momo hub adapter, that's what I did.Originally posted by russ83 View Post

Ok, according to this fitment guide VW Hubs - Hubs - Steering wheels - Products
8014 should fit late model Mk2 which is big spline, so you shouldn't have problem.

Maybe that adapter is not for a Golf, thus why it won't fit.
Pull it off I say! Or take it to a shop and get it done.Comment

Couple of pics, so u know I've got the right bits. I think mine is a big spline, not small.
I think the problem Is that the adapter teeth look buggered up. Should I take a photo of this for your judgement?
