HHey mate, is this pic of your golf? It doesnt look like a mk2 interior. Reason I ask is I want to get that momo Monte Carlo wheel but wondering if it will workOriginally posted by AusScare View PostI've got a Momo Monte Carlo in mine, $190 off ebay, then $110 for the hub adapter, very easy swap.
Highly recommended, especially since it's brand new, so no crap/worn leather!

No that's not my mk2. You can get a monte carlo wheel with a momo hub adapter, that's what I did.Originally posted by russ83 View PostHey mate, is this pic of your golf? It doesnt look like a mk2 interior. Reason I ask is I want to get that momo Monte Carlo wheel but wondering if it will work

Ok, according to this fitment guide VW Hubs - Hubs - Steering wheels - Products
8014 should fit late model Mk2 which is big spline, so you shouldn't have problem.
Are you sure you've got the right one ??sigpicParts for sale http://www.vwwatercooled.com.au/foru...ff-102387.html

Thx for your help guys.
Couple of pics, so u know I've got the right bits. I think mine is a big spline, not small.

I think the problem Is that the adapter teeth look buggered up. Should I take a photo of this for your judgement?
The hub looks like it is the right size for the adapter.
