    Yup, I`d do that for sure, take the sump off, clean out the strainer and bolt it all back together. I bet the strainer is full of slurry and metal bits.

      Nothing in the strainer, but the oil was a bit sludgey. Just had 10w40 in there for a bit, and changed it for 30w40 (High Mileage engine Oil). Seems to be better, though the buzzer came on briefly at 2k RPM, but is now temperamental. The oil pressure gauge at the top of the head is reading 2-3.5 bar at idle. I have a new oil pump to go in, but I'm going to wait and see what happens with this new oil.

      Oil was browny green (Colour Blind) But it wasn't red! That's after about 300kms!!!

      My Oil pressure light and buzzer keep coming on, I've disconnected the wire and earthed it. I have a new sender coming in, So I'll wait and see what happens.
