*just remembered.....did your pants clean up after i wound up the siren on the van?*
* Still not registered...
* Brakes fixed. The VR6 rear callipers work a treat, but have shifted the brake bias more toward the rear, so I may have to look at doing a VR6 conversion to the front as well...
* Most electrical gremlins under control at the moment... I had a scare for a bit when half my systems dropped out (headlights, wipers, fan etc.) but it turned out being a problem with the immobiliser...
* New stereo fitted. It had no stezz in it when I got it, so I have put in a new Eclipse headunit, front JL splits, rear AutoSound speakers, 400W RMS amp and Pioneer 10" VCCS sub... Mostly it was parts I had lying around, and sounds very, very nice...
* I ripped the Zender grille off!!! I have replaced it with the red stripe, twin light GTI grille!!! Still need some bits and pieces for it to be complete, but looking promising!!!
* My small bumper bits and pieces arrived over the last couple of days, thanks to Ausgolfer. I'm going for a retro, original fit out. Painting up all bits, awaiting fitting. Hopefully not too far away from getting my paintjob, then the car will all go together...!!!
* In process of getting quotes for tint removal and replacement...
* When I got a wheel alignment, I discovered I have slight non-adjustable positive camber. The suggestion from the mechanic was to get the car lowered so I'm in the process of hunting down a set of lowered springs or coilovers.
Pics to come guys. It's still very much unattractive, but the new grille is an improvement. Every little bit counts!!!

Get camber adjusters from Volkswagen or from a Golf 3. (same part)
Use one as the the lower bolt first. If you need more adjustment replace the upper as well. Don't use the aftermarket garbage that is available (and more expensive)
