Nah, I thought about it, but I think I'd love to do a retro old-school GTI look, and keep it original (just low, with nice wheels and dark tints)...

However, I'm always open to suggestion...

Ok guys. I removed the Zender kit today, and OH THE HORROR!!! I'm too embarrassed to post pics of it at the moment, but I can tell you, it will be going into the panel shop ASAP and will not be driven in the meantime...

Kit is up for sale now, looks awesome off the car...

      Cheers!!!

            Ahhhh... Yeah, bit of both...

Friday the car goes in to the panel beaters for the full treatment. Rust cut out, every panel straightened, full paint job, GTI small bumper kit fitted, rust prevention, the works...

Once it's finished I'll post before and after pics!!! I'm still in the process of sanding and removing the kit silicone, and taking pics as I go, so I'll put them up in one big clump!!!

Rego went through today. FINALLY has yellow plates!!! Yay!!!

            Cheers!!!

That all sounnds really good John
that will be a full work out for the car, not to mention be breath a new life into it
you will have a lot of fun putting it all back together & deciding on what sort of style you are going to go with from scratch
I forgot to mention that GPCWVAUDI In the UK would have most of the badges ect that you are after

              cheers Ian

Thanks Ian, I'm really looking forward to the car looking fresh and new again...

I have considered all, and have decided it's time for the "before" pics...

If you cringe at the sight of a dub in pain, look away now!!!

                Cheers!

I love that look, and my car would have looked like that originally, as it actually does not have the holes for the GTI kit! I'm gonna have to get them drilled by the panel beater.

I would go for the arch-free look, however I already have a full set of GTI arches and rubbing strips here, and I can't find anyone who sells the small rear stone guards anywhere, even though I have the holes for the small stone guard that is in your picture!!!

So I guess I'll be putting the flares on?
