Nah. The mk 3 is a keeper. I've just got more than a couple parts from a mk 3 on my car!

You know you drive a Mk2 in Canberra when someone says I've never seen a VW like that.

You know you drive a Mk2 when someone asked how it performs and you say, better then your carolla.

You know you drive a (Digi) MK2 when the injectors are louder than your radio.

Really? The only time my engine is louder than the radio is when the oil hasn't been pumped up into the top of the head yet, or is doing so because the oil is low.

Yep, all 4 injectors tick quite loudly/clearly (probably cause they're batch fired).
They're all still working fine though, cause the engine still runs haha

I drove my Mk2 for the first time in 2 months today. Having been driving an S3 for that time I had forgotten just how much fun the mk2 is and had a big grin on my face driving it. Almost tempted not to sell it now. Gonna take it for another drive tonight.

You know you drive a MK2 when you get back in the car & find random skrews in the footwell and think "Everything's still attcached, can't be important".

Not just skrews either. My door pocket is full of bits of rubber, plasic clips and the odd fuse
