Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

So this thing is finally ready to go back to its owner.
Few stumbling blocks along the way, mostly wiring for the damn digifizz. The net is full of people who cant get it to work properly!. Big props to Mastertech Beau for three days of pain in working it out. We also used an interpereter box from the states to convert a 6 cylinder rev counter signal to 4 cylinder tacho.

        Who would suspect??

        Finished product.

        This is hard to do!

Interior is next for replacement I believe.

Wow!!! I'm so glad my old girl is getting some serious love, and noone better for the job than you Matt!!! It's amazing to think that when I picked this old girl up she was rusting to death and destined for the junkyard, and now, just a few years later she's looking like the classic performance Mk2 she should be!!! Props to you guys for keeping the dream alive (while I take time out from the dub scene, still over here in Canada driving a damn Chevy truck %$#^!!!)

                    Regards all!!!
