I just bought Victors 1987 8v GTI. Some issues with the clutch, slight cosmetic defects...otherwise a beautiful car.

My Mk 2 two door.

Some subtle changes coming over next few weeks. All parts have been purchased.

1. GTI Grill being replaced with JOM straight black badge-less grill (Autoslick)
2. Black small bumper (no red details) and spoiler - originals going into storage (VW Heritage)
3. Black headlights, high beams and indicators (bumper and sides). Originals boxed and preserved (Autoslick)
4. Rear black bumper (VW Heritage)
5. Rear black taillights (Autoslick)
6. Carbon Fibre Blank for sunroof - arrives in Australia this week (LWS Design).
7. JOM side mirrors in black (Autoslick)

Next Month
1. New shocks and springs, eyeballing Autoslicks top end ones
2. Car will be re-raised 40mm, large rims and low profile tyres fitted and then dropped back onto wheels. Wheels from Ozzy Tyres.
3. 20mm wheel spacers, 4 stud to 5 stud. Interim measure so only have to buy one set of wheels.
4. Ashley Performance Headers are being ordered today. New free flow exhaust system.
5. Questions around air intake...obviously induction will be upgraded.

I have already fitted new front drivers and passenger glass. All other windows being replaced along with rubbers (where available).
Final job will be carbon fibre tailgate and bonnet.

Entire build should be complete by Valla, excluding re-spray.
