Very nice Matt, I think that red is the best colour for a MK2, in a 2 dr combo it looks great. No way does that car look 25+ years old, its got very clean lines and a modern look.....then again, my MK2 white 5 door looks like a bread van compared to it....but hey, even ugly children are loved by mum and dad

Yeah thats Mark Hammonds old car that had the G60 in it for sure, i remember seeing it in '05 at the nats when the guy who bought it off Mark was trying to sell it. Good find Matt.

It was funny actually, some bloke rang me up and said "I have a Mk2 I want to get rid off".
I said "What is it, standard 5 door aussie one?" He said "no its a 2 door import, shall I bring it down for you to see??".

I actually beat you to one car that I bought.The guy was following me on m5 in my vr6 and notice your Camden GTI sticker on the back.Next thing he pulls on the side and ask if the guys on the back sticker deal with older vw. The rest is history.... Very nice car there Matt. Are you still going ahead with that 4 to 2 door conversion or that is 4 sale now.
