  • 16v abf, yeah boy

Spent 3 month in Sydney end of last year and pooped over to see the loon about a car. Before his mk 2 went to the scrappy in the sky I saw it and realised I needed to pull my finger out and do the deed so Golf loon, thank you for my madness.

Returned to London 3 weeks ago and removed from a crate in the garage a complete golf 2.0 abf which has been sitting around for ages.

Last night this is how she stood,

Engine is in a now running, pics posted were pre fire up so now just trying to do all the bits I know will be far easier to do from here, back in oz for a month mid april then in the uk for a while,

Still have an engine bay to smooth, finnish a loom tuck and repaint the front end plus fit all the carbon parts on including some engine details.

                      Then rag it to death

If I come over for good it comes with me guaranteed, I'm sure it would cause a stir of some type and should silence some of the keyboard warriors at the same time.

It now lives and breaths, first run on the road in 2 months - sorry for the short video but only had an iphone,

While it wa locked away I've also managed to get another sponser so new audio system is on its way and air is on the cards, so now it will be in the weeds all day long until I hit a speed ramp.

                              UPDATS UPDATES UPDATES

Returned to London and started work, Shakey bells me, "mate, we have to take the engine out", to cut a long story short the engine came out.

Split the engine and sent of loads of bits to be powder coated in a black leather finish.
Engine bay’s now empty and feeling sorry for itself so what the hell,,,,,,,

It was smoothed like a baby butt keeping the original factory line

Expansion bottle, gone, water bottle, gone, battery errrr gone
The loom extended some more, taken through chassis legs and back out.

Box arrived 4 days later containing this

Throw it all together and you get this

                              Yeah boy!!!!!!!!!

Wheels have also been staggerd so loads of tuck to come, should sit about 20mm of the floor so air on the cards,

Loads more carbon inside to, 2 weeks of prep work left then its edition38, players and west side shows.

Then garage and strip, and loads of powdercoating and static coils come of for the new wind machine. Supercharger sold and engine gets even blacker

                              BLACK OPZ has arrived

and just as a tease, were finnishing this of now

mk1 76, running a KR on throttle bodies, staggerd BBS RS's, 100% period interior been stiched as I write this, retro madness for the win
