I am amazed that these cars hold up so well in accidents.

When I borrowed the audi the other week I was praying this was not going to happen.

Sorry you are not going to be able to claim any insurance, and that all off the hard work is for nil.

Good thing you are a VW dismantler and have access to a tray truck on the bright side.

Finally, assure the guy driving that it was not his fault, there can be all but 10% blame to him in a rear end that is so significant.

Argh! Gutted...this was the ultimate sleeper, with the pea shooter exhaust and the badges but as others have said good to hear no one got hurt, it took a wack!

                      Good luck with whatever happens

Its a shame that in an effort to get her back on the road that the car will never be enjoyed, hope all goes well, what will you do with it, hopefully you can salvage a bit of it.

Good no one was hurt, but it still always feels like a kick in the teeth

                          real shame!

So sad to see this, such a great and unique car and you have done such a great job in making it look nice! Again, nobody got hurt and this is what counts initially! Is it a complete write-off?
