Trackday mk2 suspension setup?

What would be a good suspension setup for a mk2 used for trackdays and hill climbs ect?

What specifically do you mean?

Torsion bars? Damper rates? Camber? Spring rates and heights? Tyre pressures?

All depends on the track and wheather conditions mate.

Is it stock atm?

Its completely stock, what would be a good spring/damper combo or am I better off going for coilovers? Will need arb as it doesnt have any

Do you have a budget?
There are plenty of cheap coilover systems on the market which will give you more ability to dial the car in. The more expensive you go the more features/better quality they are going to get.

Good shock and spring set up (cheaper than coil overs)
280mm brakes

yep, I'd agree with that. although if you can afford it some adjustable rebound and dampaning coilovers would be nice, but only if you're going to spend time to dial in the settings. if not a ready made and matched cup kit is a good way to go.

Thanks for the advice, ive got a set of poly bushes and a 288mm 5stud brake kit from a vr6, just wasnt too sure on arb sizes and what springs and shocks to use

I know of a coulpe of guys in the uk running pretty much solid rear ends.. Don't know why or how this affects them on the track, but the seem to do quite well.
