looking good. nice little pea shooter exhast you've got there

what's the go with getting the a/c regassed once you've got the system in? I can't just get mine regassed because it needs to be modified to suit the newer R134a stuff. hope you're aware of this.

For the love of Dubs, ditch those number plate surrounds old mate. :baghead:

The repaired panel is the best on the car now!

LOL..it sure is the best panel lol....i like the number plate surrounds

Are for the regassing, I have read a few things on the next about it...I know you can get a seal kit so you can take the new gas.
But if i use the mk3 stuff then this shouldnt be a problem...if i carry on the mk2 trail then a seal kit will be bought.

Exhaust, i like the stealth look. dont want to spend money on the exhaust till next engine upgrade

Velly, a mate of mine did the same thing with the 2.0l bottom end.

But, the car feels like it has no juice after 5000rpm. His still running the standard 1.8 ecu. Would a performance chip be a solution that that problem?

Are you still running the standard ecu?

                Thanks mate,

                Gordan.

still running a std ECU but also std manifold. i think its the mainfold is the problem.

but the 2.0 wont rev high, 8v's arent like 16v's when it comes to revs
                  6000 is max for them

                    Yeah maybe.

But, i can feel the engine that it needs more fuel. But, that's maybe me.

My mate will probs end up buying a chip. Just to see the difference.

                    Thanks Velly.

edit: its got the standard mani aswell.

It has been a while so here is a little update

Due to the fact that i was laid off earlier this year and almost set back to dear old blighty plans for My Fast have changed....but only slightly and is more realistic

current plans is to get the 2.0 8v running well so that means...
fit a mk3 2.0 manifold (current RV manifold is very small)
                      fit my ebay chip
fit mk3 VR6 suspension and brakes
Porker Designer 90 or cookie cutters rims
hope to get all this done this year.

next year will look at buy a cheap VR6 for an engine transplant

Pics are taken with ceri's point and shoot so then aint the best lol

Its nice to see that you saved an innocent motor instead of just 'chucking' it
Has this had a full wax or polish?
It must look stunning when its clean!
