i hope all that's needed is a couple of remeasurements. (and money ) i still have no idea about the output specs.. there's still a whole bunch of machining to be done etc.

couple of other bits and pieces but i'm sure it'll run. (sometime i hope)

oooo kay. beau still has the engine in queensland, but we're testing out the improved loom with another 8v kjet motor.

it's also moderately low. everything is back together. we're just having a bit of a gremlin within the fuel pump. it's not getting any power. lol. i problem is solved, another one comes up. *sigh* before it was the ignition, but the key totally works now.... amazing!

so anyway, a few pics. oh, i'll get some photos of the interior when all of the exterior is attached and not inside...

Jay has got update lazy. He is still driving the car round with a borrowed motor. His fast race motor is being run in up in QLD and soon will be coming down here and finding its new home in Jays car

loon how quick can a 8v engine be? even if it goes out to a 2.2l?

Guy on Club GTI had spent $10K on the 8v in his mk1 and it was crazy quick!
