Jettas is sounding pretty phat fella. The 6x9s using the boot as a big bass box help too.

Dont go to them there crap ( no offence ). If you want a good hook up go see Roger in Motoquipe in Hornsby. I work there and we will defo sort you out a good deal - The installer we use is also top notch and he is a lot better than the guys at JB!
Anyway back on topic - www.audioscape.co.uk or .com make door pods that take 6 inchers they look a tad odd though, there was some guy in europe on ebay seeling 'doorboards' or summut and they looked nice but u'll pay, thats why im rocking my 3 and a bit Infinity speakers in the dash
heres a pic of mine. 6.5" mb quart reference (tweeter is up near the mirror, crossover is in the door)
Nice. Very neat looking. May I ask where you got them? I found the standard ones that fit the 5 1/4" speakers on E-Bay pretty cheap, but have had no luck finding bigger ones.
Those Audioscape pods look great, but they're well out of my price range..
i got them made at Tower Audio, in Oakleigh. have you thought about making your own? theres lots of tutorials on the net about making fibreglass pods, a few on caraudioaustralia.
I have no bad experiance with JB hi-fi. Infact, they always seem helpfull and always lower the price if you haggle and pay cash.... but IMO its VERY hard to beat Ebay. I always look on EBay first.... most of the time purchasing off there instead of the shops.
JB installed my head unit and stacker 5 years ago, they did a quality job with the install and did the lot for a very good price, and I've never had a problem with it, that's why I went back there to ask them about splits in the front. But it pays to shop around and ebay seems to be the go for cheap gear...
You can pull the side panels off from the dash easily there is a cover and a screw behind it. The hard part without pulling the window or the dash out is getting the old speakers out and new ones in.
I tried it once and it was a nightmare then the speakers i bought were to deep!! so had to put the oldies back anyway.

It was the same deal with my mates TS Magna. We ended up using metal cutting pliers to cut the stock speaker up and a sharp stanly knife to cut the hole so the new 4" could fit.
