  • new wheels, new brakes, new pics!

well i finally got around to popping in the mk3 booster and cordoba master cylinder - no threading for me, i just welded the coupler onto the shaft at the right length, since the tie-rod is adjustable anyway.

with mk2gti vented rotors and calipers on the front, cordoba drums on the rear and the new master cylinder and booster - well lets say it pulls up quite fast! locks all four wheels simultaneously on straight flat road, at any speed, without pushing too hard at all! I LOVE IT!

i picked up these BBS rims on ebay. found some 185/55 r14 conti's for them, which i think are just about perfect. the rims are 6.5" wide jobbies. ex e30 beemer, luckiliy with the BBS centrecaps! WOOT!

missing one sticker - its in the post

I had done some tidying up of the engine bay (hard to tell ) and painting a while ago - some of you would have seen at the 'nats. for those who didnt:

'07 Touareg V6 TDI with air suspension
    '98 Mk3 Cabriolet 2.0 8V
    '99 A4 Quattro 1.8T

My brakes are not standard. GTI Fronts and Cordoba rears. Bigger Booster. I reckon a cylinder is rooted and I`m loosing fluid. ill get it on the hoist this week.

Nice work on the Golf Aydan, looks heaps tidy.
