  • Excellent pics of snowed-in show Mk1!!

Owned and built by a Norwegian bloke on 'Vortex. He spent weeks sealing the underbody - now I see why

We are not worthy of such dedication

How much is a mk1 Golf worth ?
Follow the rebuild of the green machine and we in Aus can count ourselves darn lucky we can still buy good rust free cars here at any price.Imagine the bill if one paid a professional for all the rust repairs and bodywork.
              About $15k I'd say.
              So treasure your mk1s guys.
Oh and by the way if you liked the nice set of BBS wheels on the red job I have some spare.

Still looks better than some of the roof racks with Grandma's suitcases on them that people are putting on their Mk1s nowadays

Looks even worse with all the chrome window trim, bumpers and tat with big tail lights, like that ugly thing on the PVW cover with clip on wheel trims

I'm not saying that I like the car in fact the kick on moondiscs are kack
But at the end of the day he's built an individual car on a budget and its still better than the stuck in the eighties yellow mk1 that the judges at the nationals keep giving the thumbs up to,or would you rather an accent with an F1 wing stuck on the boot?

and you can always take a roof rack off
