      Today i helped Jarred change his wheel bearing...

      and he helped me work on my 4 doorage golf so i can get rid of the dreaded thing from the peoples lives it has ruined haha ok so its not that bad!

      then i can start on the body of the 2 door! and build up my motor nice and pretty when its dark !

          yea, you've got youre work cut out for you with the 2 door body work. that thing is, well, dodgey.

              WOOOO my 4 door is ready to go to heaven!

              ripped the fuel tank out and all the wiring took the last gaurd off and put some wheels on it with no springs in the back looks mad

              finally i am able to start doing body work on my 2 door!

                    well i was sorta getting it down the driveway when the brick slipped out for underneath the wheel :O so i sorta let go and it rolled at about 20km an hour into my front fence (killing my letter box )...luckly the car was damaged and never to be registered again

                        and by the end of next week should have the car jammed, engine bay painted and the motor in with the wiring loom GOI HOLIDAYS!!! work all day and party all night

                          Today was a very productive day! woke up at 7 and started working on her at 8 and finished when it was dark!


                          yeh thats right 1.8 GTI motor! k-jet

                          buffed the head aswell...hard to see...but i did...OK. and painted the rocker cover!


                          BUFFED IT

                          does anyone know how these things mount? never used one before

                          See my lil external oil filter thingy mabob!

                            got rid of the tow hook. just need to weld a patch over the top!


                            so i cna't work on her tomorrow...but on sunday i will be...so hopefully by sunday arvo its all primed ready to paint it her on monday!!!

                                Tow hook would have been good if you were keen on tacking it on the track

                                But the engine is looking super clean and the bay should look super with paint!

                                BTW dont bother with the cover that goes on the side of the engine to cover the belts ect... But you may need it for a RWC
