Where do I find the VIN plate?

Was registered with a KR (1.8 16v), I'll be putting in my 9a this weekend (2.0 16v).

NSW rego ran out 22 Nov 2014 so I've got another month to get it through rego without having to get it pink slipped.

That's why I got the car for a good price. Going from 3rd to 4th at max revs but getting 2nd can do that to an engine.

damn...i thought it was this...i saw it for sale i think....i was thinking if it was only piston damage i would take it, set of pistons, some throttle bodies....but looks like too much head damage for what i want to get involved with

All it took was a $8500 loan to pay out the Visa card and doctors bills + a new front fence and lots of flowers.

I got extra brownie points when I picked up a vintage sideboard when I got the Golf. My wife loves it (the sideboard not the Golf).

She hates the Golf.

didn't mean the car...was referring to the knackered engine if you wasn't going to use it...no amount of flowers would enable me to buy another mk1...iv only just registered mine

I've found it's easier to ask for forgivness than ask for permission so buy another Golf and say you're sorry.

But be prepared to ask for forgivness for a very, very long time.
