For something that big you might have to go see Nick at Bungendore.
I am actually looking at replacing both sides and the front end because my front panel was badly bent. The grill was hiding the bend and buckle pretty well.
Was thinking if there was a 2door I would take it if it had much less rust than mine. My mine problem is major panel rust. Found my doors are a bit iffy as well. So might have to scratch building a 4door unless I get one with much less rust. I would like a 4door but if I had no choice a 2door will do...
I have sort off lost a little bit of motivation because of this retarded rust issue but also because work is starting to get really hectic now as well. I do hope the little bit of time we have off over Christmas and New Years I can do a little bit of work on that.
Paul, I'll give nick a call sometime next week and see if he has anything that will make my job easier. Maybe, just maybe look at a 2door.
Hey guys and girls, was just wondering how many of you might be interested in a neon light that is in the shape of the VW badge. Rough estimate it'll cost $150 with postage included. Here is a datsun one, but just to give you an idea...
Ok, I just got confirmation that he would be able to make the VW logo. If one is bought it'll cost $150 postage included, but if we do a bulk buy he can do a better deal, just waiting on him to reply on how many for a better price and also if he can make them in all sorts of colours...
So I have been away for a little while to sort out a few things. I was trying to sell all my gear I had available but don't need to sell it no more. I can now get back into my project. It'll be a very slow start because I am starting a new job as well. It'll take a while before I can get consistent work going. Hopefully this will now be the "start" towards the actual finish.
