Went GAD today and it was a pretty good turn out from my point of view. Don't know compared to the years before but the missus and i enjoyed it. Here are a few pics of some of the cars we liked:
And this one took out some prize and rightfully so:
fu..ck i wish i was able to of gone!!!! looks mental !! would of loved to go to get a little inspiration for my 4 door mk1!!
my little mk1 will be sitting there next year !!! can't wait !!!

If I could mine would be there but as for what I am trying to do here it won't be there for a few years. But will go and have a sneak peak at what there is every year to keep me motivated
Haven't done anything this weekend. Spent a bit of time with the missus which was really good and much needed.
Wish I could start with the fab work but can't find the right panels at any VW place for which I want to replace. Might have to order two of three in the next couple of months and the slowly start installing them while waiting for the company to find a supplier for the third panel.
Once I have that I can intall the engine for time being and then start work on the rear to fit the back end of the AWD system.
And I have to finish my studies inbetween as well.
That's too racey for what we are after but have to say it does look pretty good.
Not doing much this weekend on the car. Missus got a bit stressed out at work the last couple of weeks and fell a little ill so taking care of her and have to do a bit of "stay at home hubby" work while she rests.
Looking at trying to get the rest of the interior out of the car in the next couple weekends and possibly starting on installing the rear diff...
Which means FAB WORK... [emoji41][emoji41][emoji41]
Will get dad in to help with the welding. He can do TIG welding
Is there anyone out there that has a rust free inner wheel housing(RH) with the original mount still on the chassis rail. In need of that to get my engine temporarily fitted so I can work on the rear to allign the propshaft properly and make sure its all 110% straight.
