Hey guys, haven't had much time to do anything on the project. Weather stuffed me and work is a little hectic. Hopefully by saterday I will have an empty engine bay on the golf and have it at my parents house by the weekend there after. Which will be easier to get the audi motor out and in to see what needs doing.

Got around to the golf today, did a bit of strip work on it and did pretty well I think. Here are some pics:

Soon yo be an absolute clean engine bay without anything in there so that I can transfer the APY and gearbox straight in and start some fabrication work and smoothing it all off.

Found all the different plates with build date and vin on it etc but none of it has the gearbox code on and everyone says the plate or sticker but can't find that plate or sticker with it on so I'll probabbly only know what gearbox I have untill I pull it out...

Good to see you've finally started. Wiring looks normal to me, wrap a bit of sticky tape over it and no-one will notice.

Its all dodge and ripped it all out anyway. Gonna do new wiring. Just gotta sort the engine bay out and fill all the ****ty holes the previous guy has made and smooth out the bay. But I am also happy that I finally had a chance to do something.
