Reliability doesn't seem to be their strong suit...
That said, mine hasn't let me down yet...
Then again, it has some lovely bumps, whines and clunks... That and the gear linkage has dropped off a couple of times... But it gets me home every time...'90 Mk I Cabriolet 1.8L - My toy... err... Daily driver...- Replaced with ‘93 Mk1 Cabriolet 1.8L <- Soon to be mine...

Looking for a top radiator hose for my 8V, don't mind it being used, mines in bad shape
also, how could i possibly get my hands on some blueprints for the brackets of the vr6 to mk1 chassis conversion, the eurowise kit is kind of expensive and i have to very good metal fabricators which I'm good friends with,

With the sunroof, the wiring should be fine - from memory the sunroof was disabled because either the motor or the cog couldn't handle sliding the roof back, and the tilt was on the way out as well and wouldn't close properly without applying pressure...There is no Golf in my life. This is unacceptable...
