Mk3 Brake booster with Mk3 rear disks would be a good start...

I've got my booster, but no rear disk's at this stage...

From what I understand, you can just unbolt them off of a mk3 and bolt them straight onto a mk1...
But I believe that you will need mk1 scirocco handbrake cables.

I believe this is what you need...
Mk3 Disc's, Calipers, stub axles, backing plate.
        Mk1 Scirocco handbrake cables.

        For the brake booster,
Mk3 brake booster, master cylinder, and if it's a 2port master like mine, the pair of t-pieces.

Unfortunately for me, the Mk3 donor car had been converted to 5-stud, and I didn't wish to change the wheels, so no rear disc's for me...

            Hello there,
I will follow this thread with some interest as i too have recently purchased a rabbit cabriolet. Mine is an '83 and has a 1.9 audi motor in it. Good luck with the engine conversion.
