Dont put the wheels on Elton, just dont. I cant handle that much jealousy! Haha
Or put them on... But dont be surprised if my mk1 is rollin fresh shortly after! Haha
painted the entire undercarriage, POR15'd the floor, fitted the wheels and slammed it today.
today was a good day.
picking up a new carpet tomorrow and generally tying up loose ends, parents have insisted i take it in to get looked over by a mechanic prior to it going onto the road full time, and as i am working friday saturday and sunday and back at uni next week, that will be happening tomorrow afternoon/friday.
thinking ill get pick up some 175/60/15s for the 8's, as much as the 165/50s look tits, they are too small and don't fill out the wheel arch enough/look smaller than the fronts and look awkward-ish.
Those are some narrow tyres dude. Might have to see this one before I can comment on how it actually looks haha. Although your styling on everything thus far has been on point so I'm probably wrong
ended up getting some 175/60s fitted to the 8s, the 165s looked great but as they stretched more than the 7s it made the profile look lower and awkward on the 8s and they didnt quite fill out the wheel arch... didnt really get decent photos showing that, but anyway. got a new carpet from knox auto carpets. tits. also swapped out the rear beam for the one from the blue car as the whole rear beam was all over the shop. now everything is on point and i couldnt be happier, threw in the poly bushes as well
photos
took out the whole bottom of the car getting it onto the trailer, but all good. off to get a once over and everything aligned!
