So my mk1 has developed a squeal...its coming from somewhere near the carby/below it sort of?? I noticed a bit of fuel has leaked from the carby but cant seem to determine where the squeal is coming from...any suggestions of what I should look for or try??

The squeal stops slightly when the clutch is about halfway out and revs on 1200-1300...then starts pretty much instantly when clutch is right out/revs go above or below...

New doorcards and carpet arrived from Newton Commercial - wow top quality and took 2 days to get to Australia!
Carpet is not in yet but I got the doorcards on before it got dark. Will get some decent pics when its all back together.

Your heater controls look a little different from normal. Got a close up shot?

Haha yep easy and simple - just make sure you recoat them every now and then otherwise they do start to fade and it looks terrible.

Cheers Brian - yeah got a few things in my mind but dont want to do it to these seats - just do it to my other velour set that is sitting around.
