picked up some mirror adhesive, so lets see how it goes

first little cosmetic part purchased, front lip
excuse the height issue.. preeny's getting some V1's sorted for me

        also one other question.
my dad has a 36/36 DCD Weber (YES 36/36!!!) that he said i could throw on the 1.6L.
Is it too much for a sort of daily driver??
obviously it will need retro fitting, and ill have a go at making some extractors for it at some stage.

there are spoiler clips that you pop into place, then the spoiler clips onto them. GOLF-MK1-SET-OF-GRILLE-SPOILER-CLIPS-GENUINE
if you don't care about the body that much, drill a few holes and bolts will do the trick.

should be ok on the carb, just make sure you tune it (or get it tuned) properly to get the most out of it. may need to fiddle with the jet sizes depending what engine it came off

Your Weitec Hicon GTs for the Mk2 are on their way (You should've got the automated email from TNT with a tracking #) and your KW V1s for the Mk1 are ordered, David. This is a nice Mk1, by the way. Great buy.

i'm feeling really broke ATM. but i figure if i got cheap coilovers, i'd regret it later on

loving the car so far, even if it isn't on the road.
was getting ready to pull the door apart to fix the drivers window, it wouldn't open or close.
started off by taking the winder off, and noticed it was just loose. tighten her up and hey presto.. WIN!!!!

Yeah, Mk1s are nice to work on. Relatively simple, small, etc. I swapped the entire interior in my GLD in a couple of hours.
