  • now............. what to do with myself and the wabit????

well scince i lost my licence and cannot drive my car

i have time to make it look, go and feel better !!!!

i have a few things in mind

id like to go 16x7's all round and a faster engine, as for the body.... im after a new style to, minimal as possible no guard flared, no side stripes and flush doorhandles, possibly a single wiper with shaved rain trays and debadged allround i will not be extending the guards and i will be keeping the black front and rear bars

this is how the car would look with a 16x7 dummy rim withthe cars currend level

and these are the wheels, repplica BBS RS with just over an inch of dish

the car will be getting beaten and painted again in the orig color you see here
but with audi 80 doorhandles inserted

as for the engine i am unsure of yet but will possibly go mk4 gti or in a budget case and 2.0lt 16v but well c how we go once i start the body

    any comments and ideas???

    dom

          Full VR6 conversion

          ... including AC

          PS I love my AC

If it has an engine or heartbeat it's going to cost you.

I wouldnt go replicas, due to weight. Otherwise they look the goods.
Engine wise cant help im faced with the same dilema at the moment leave 1.6 or go 16v $$$ always talks tho.

              Look foward to seeing progress.

I like you idea with the shaving and stuff.. get it look real smooth and it'll look HAWT! as for the eng, you may as well do 20VT it you got the dough, but if not, a worked 16V will still be horn!

p.s. Let me know what you're gonna do with your donk if you do end up switching..

weight is not an issue to me, IMO i think it does very little compared to power
