    Is there much advantage do you think of having the solid axle? More so out of interests sake than anything else.

      I'm not sure. I've never heard of a stock tubular one breaking. I guess it's just easier to manufacture them this way.

      Maybe they're stiffer and don't twist up under load but I'd just be guessing.
