Dub Toffee- Yeah that was the point
My girlfriend paid for a photoshoot for ourselves and the car for my Valentines Day present. BEST. GIRLFRIEND. EVER.
I'll post a couple more photo's up later on

Dom- I know dude, I had to buy it, i've loved it ever since Dan owned it. Couldn't let it get passed up! It's MINT!

Shramma- I'd love to sell the Proton and buy a VR or something along those lines to daily, however I wouldn't get stuff all for it now unfortunately. So it's just going to stay as an A-B car until I move onto something better. (Eg. Another Golf )
Plans for the Golfs are though..
The Swallowtail is getting a fully built carbed EV code 8V motor (stroker kit, knife edged crank, high comp pistons, completely built head, dual webers, etc)
Then the 2door is going to just have the wheels driven off of it! Then get it resprayed (keeping the brown of course) eventually. Might even cam it and do the springs if the idea lingers long enough, should give the motor a bit more kick. It's super quick as it is though with the Mk2 GTi motor and 40mm Dellorto.
1976 VW Golf "Swallowtail" - Rallye Red (long term resto)
    2009 Pirelli GTI - Stg3 killer
    2009 R36 Passat - Daily baller

Can't wait to see this back on the road again. Slowly slowly moving towards having her running again.
Most of my attention lately has been going on the GOLFATHER. That should be changing soon though

(If anyone in WA knows of a nice one with little to no rust let me know please! Doesn't have to be registered)

Things are slowly progressing on this, and on the GOLFATHER too. Hopefully I'll have the motor assembled in the next few months if I can afford the final pieces, clutch was picked up the other day. So that's something.
