I've been searching for a picture of this car for a while. I read something about a very VERY early Swallowtail with some kind of sliding door that was apparently a prototype/test car and this is the first I've seen of it!

This car has a build date of 10.31.1973. VIN- 174 300 0037

Yeah that swallowtail panel just doesnt look nice. Looks more like the shape a mk1 escort has on the rear panel. Very similar. The lower half of the rear panel is flat on that 73 aswell. Glad they revised it.

A pic of that other prototype would be good jarred if you can find it!

I like that car because of the yellow and brown, and because it reminded me I have (D) automobile nationality sticker at home i'm going to stick on a bit of aluminium and rivet onto a bracket and bolt onto the car, rather than just sticking it!
If it looks like it does in my mind it'll look older, ergo cooler.

DUDE! Mk3 steelies with chrome hoops and whitewalls! Do you mind if I copy that?? Looks sweeet. I might put on the chrome mk1 caps though...
