^^ Might look better on a sunny day with a proper camera taking the picture
Wouldn't hurt to polish em up either

Will look nice when you hit them with the Autosol and get some end caps on. I'd replace the waistline strip with a full chrome one and it'll look a lot better too. You can also tidy up the rub strips with some black shoe polish.

You can get the good 3M 12mm chrome trim from Creative Cars in Hobart - cheaper than buying the press-in stuff and will do the trick on a budget.

chrome strip isn't a bad idea if you're looking to not spend a few hundy on parts from the UK.

Can hardly tell the difference. Gotta love the chromies

Yeah I'm liking the ideas guys. Will get that going for sure! Made a floor to cover the spare tonight, looks real nice. Will post pics tomorrow morning

Chrome bumpers aren't perfect, but will be once I have the money! But plastic bumpers aren't my style at all, so you will have to get used To it!!

The car will go down lower once we find a house with a normal drive way! Hahaha as for now, gonna leave it. Cheers for the tips and ideas guys, seriously I need as much help as I can get.

This is what I wanna end up with eventually....

So the chrome trim will be mint!! Chrome flag mirrors are on eBay ATM so might jump on them too. Let me know of anyone has some quarter stone guards.

Are you going to put carpet in the boot?

Nah going wood grain floor and maybe some tartin trimming here and there i reckon.. eventually going to have 2x 12" subs mounted in wicker picnic baskets sitting in the boot. got some beige carpet coming soon from a donor car, and will be re-doing door cars in black vinyl and yellow tartin.. its gonna be real retro interior.

That would be rather dissapointing if you had kids.

"daddy we're hungry, whats in the picnic box? *opens it* Oh its subs " haha

Good idea though, i like it !
