  • Twin engine Mk1 Golf

Found this article that may be of interest to some people .... A crazy guy in Cape Town, South Africa, took a Citi Golf and stuck 2 x 16V turbo engines in it, giving it over 600kw, AWD and a quartermile time of 10.6s ....

    Golf twin-engine

AS you can see making mega power out of the 16V engines is something the boys there do really well, with some 16Vs making up to 385kw ..... .... makes the 300 odd kw MK1 I had seem tame in comparison ....

Marty, twinenginetwinturbs has a Mk1 in Orange with twin 8v GTI engines, each of which is turbo!

There are some pics in his Gallery on here. I have never seen it and reckon he needs to bring it to a show.
Come on Marty, get out of the shed and show us your beast.
