            Bit of an update

            Recent work:
            - Got the new brake booster in & connected all brake lines
            - put the radiator in

            This weeks purchases:
            - hopefully buying extractors
            - new front discs (old ones bit worn for my liking)
            - larger rear drums
            - gear shift bush kit

            This weekend coming:
            - motor and gearbox going in
            - suspension and brakes going in

Yep, thought so its jsut the most common/easiest conversion.

I'm glad to see ppl get into things like that ahaha, i was once like that however i've lost alot of motivation..

However good to see it coming along, good luck for the future. by the way are you planning to respray it?

thanks, ye its a good starting point for now, hope to take it on the track a a few times, i know it won't be a weapon but still plenty of fun.

the paint is generally pretty good, but after i get it on the road and save up i'm aiming to do some sort of respray.

soooo today (Saturday) we got the following done on the old girl.

                          - put in rear mk3 rear drums (connected brake/handbrake lines etc) + put in rear shocks/springs
                          - pulled off the other car sway bars, callipers, shocks, control arms - have to give them a good degrease and a paint and put them back on

all brakes and suspension should be done soon and hopefully starting to get the motor in next couple weeks.

                          few photos below. cheers

also just a few other things, got new orginial vented discs+pads so looking forward to see how the car stops.

umm and getting new control arm bushes, sway bar bushes, brake line hoses, cv boots; few little bits and pieces (i've developed a liking for opening up new parts in boxes ahah)
