Yep, thought so its jsut the most common/easiest conversion.Originally posted by dubmc View Postits from a MK3, so is the 5-speed im pretty sure.
yeah mate when i'm not working i try to do as much as i can, don't want to see it sit there all year, just want to drive it lol.
I'm glad to see ppl get into things like that ahaha, i was once like that however i've lost alot of motivation..
However good to see it coming along, good luck for the future. by the way are you planning to respray it?- Orange Golf mk1 LS, 1.8 5speed, 32/36 - sold

soooo today (Saturday) we got the following done on the old girl.
- put in rear mk3 rear drums (connected brake/handbrake lines etc) + put in rear shocks/springs
- pulled off the other car sway bars, callipers, shocks, control arms - have to give them a good degrease and a paint and put them back on
all brakes and suspension should be done soon and hopefully starting to get the motor in next couple weeks.
few photos below. cheersLast edited by dubmc; 10-07-2010, 06:16 PM.78 2-door 1.8 KR 16v - twin dellorto's
