nice. i love the flourish of 20v mk1 projects happening.

car looks heaps clean, especially with a 1.8t in the front of it.

are those jules' wheels from the ibiza gti?

regardless. looks tidy, keep us updated!

haha just saw your intro in the noobies section.

workin with pete shelley? i've heard the k04 caddy is pretty rapid.

on closer inspection (thanks jarred) there seems to be some quality fabrication going on there. (box mount/downpipe)

dont suppose this'll be coming up to nationals...?

yes i work with pete at cvwc. the workshop ute is good fun hopfully the mk1 should be more fun!

a mate who has a v-dub shop in the uk knows a guy that fabs the mounts for the 02a G/box in to mk1 picked them up for a song.

down pipe was made by glen at roadway exhausts then was sent to get hot-jet coated.

Was hoping to take him to the nationals just aint going to be ready in time o'well might just have to take the rat again!

Ohh so you do have an account on here good to see.

I am the random bloke that came in and spoke to Pete on Thursday afternoon...

I am very interested in what your doing to the car and it looked great when I saw it in the shop, I think I might have to have some words with yourself about possibly going down the same path with my car.

Just to note, which wiring harness are you going with?

                            Cheers,
                            Aaron.

Hi jace the rat is an old gld we had hanging around the workshop we got a bit silly one arvo and coverd it with iron filings and droped it a heap with some cheap coilovers.

There are pics of it on here from the nats last year in rat and retro i think.

                              cheers
