    plenty of options you can do cheaply using std VW gear. G60 280mm discs with a girling 54 caliper will do the trick. you can buy caliper adaptors for $50 on ebay. Remember to upgrade the master cylinder to a mk3 unit also mate. a 9" booster will also improve the braking response.

      That is the standard front end brake setup removed from my wrecked Seat Cupra. 280mm rotors. The rotors were replaced with near new pads as I recall not long before the car was written off.

        Caliper is the same as a VR6 Mk2 GTI ( G54) just the carrier bracket is different between VR6 and other models ( corrado etc ) - ( bolt spacing ), something to watch for ....
        Lots of MK 1 Scirocco's...

        If it aint a MK 1 then it must be a donor car ??
