Oh you're a chick? Nice. It's always nice to see chicks doing this sort of thing, as it's reasonably rare. Good stuff!

No, that's not a harsh comment.. Stereotypically speaking I totally get where you're coming from!

Oh, and given that Andrew (gtimk5) is too humble to give himself a plug, he's an AWESOME mechanic and will be a great source of information and parts for you, given that you live in Tassy.. Even I deal with him for a lot of stuff! haha.

    .. He's also not a bad fella to boot, so it's win-win.

Oh sweet! So you are from Tas! I'll sing out if i run into trouble if that's ok? Given it's a restoration - i most likely will... Need to concentrate on the VR tho - it's in need of love and attention.. and style...
I'm going to the pub... I may be some time...

No i'm from NSW.. But i deal with Andrew because he's great to deal with. I'm a no BS kinda dude and he doesn't jerk me around so it's a relationship that works well! haha.

If i was in Tas i'd be happy to help you..

Starting to look like Tassie is the Aussie capital of hot MK1's.

Don't forget to post lots of pix and good luck with the build.

                              holy panels batman!

I've seen people with race cars with fewer spare panels!

p.s. jealous of your garage and storage space!
