    Cutting the battery plate out, along with some rust.



    Welding the strut seams and putting in some new metal.







    All primed up.



    Me getting funky with some atomic green.





    In goes the steering rack from an ‘83 and a Auto to Manual pedal box swap.





    So there you have it. A cage is going in soon, the block has been dipped and cleaned, got some hot cams and other nice bits, I am just waiting on fresh rings to turn up and the engine rebuild will begin.

    So stay tuned.

                      Well done mate. Props for doing something a little different. What cams etc are you going to run? Be interested to know for obvious reasons.

                      I take it you got the bay etc sand blasted? That's very close on the agenda for me. What's a ballpark figure on price there?
