            not at all in the last few days i have welded mounts for the harness cut out the old front seat mounts and am starting fabbing some alloy cross members for the feet wells, and sorted the rear brakes, got some slotted discs and stripped and painted the mk3 rear calipers, and there is still a list longer than my arm, but sort of getting there

            • Could anyone tell me if you could put disc brakes on the rear, of a Golf 1990 1.8 litre convertable? Not sure as yet if its a MK 1 as its my first VW.

              • Yes You Can, Scouce Up A Mk3 Rear Setup And All You Need To Change Is Handbrake Cables To Scirocco Ones And Upgrade The Brake Booster To A Mk3 Gti One With Rear Disc Proportioning Valves Mate, Just Did Mine And They Stop Sweet

                    • sump is a baffeled schrick alloy sump and the mount are sperichal solid bearing mounts(ecentric so camber and cast adjustment is possible),and the small billet knob on the lower right is the new bonnet realease, in which i used an old speedo cable
