    • working on some camber plates, cut to 3 degrees will weld them up tommorow, and unlike alot of camber plates/adjusters these will let the bolt remain straight and not put any extra tension on them

              mine has 1.5 deg
if yours was similar , could be i bit much ?

              • That's gonna look awesome with the phat rears Bear in mind, it won't drive very well with that much camber, though!!

P.S. Stock rear is -1 degree. I tried -2.5 with the Eurospec spacers and it was terrible. Apparently 1.5-2deg is good for a track car

I would, as Mk1s are better to drive than look at, but it's not my car, and yes it'll look hot (Mike McCoy style!!)

                      • He also can't run the car for much longer than 20 minutes I have no gripes, though; it's one of my fave cars for style and full respect for building it to suit himself and no one else

Sorry for my ignorance, and going off topic, but who is this McCoy fellow and are there any pics of his highly admired Mk1?

Just curious, and sorry if I have caused any offence.

Opps, sorry, just saw the 'inspired' thread. Amazing effort in the car.

                          • Would you consider having some more of these camber plates made up?

I would be interested in a pair
