    • So long and thanks for the fishes,
One of the longest chapters in my life has offically ended , as I've mentioned this car has seem me through some major milestones in my life both good and bad .
I, to the end of the build had my dad strongly in mind as he taught me to drive in a Mk1 and he truely loved the Golf platform aswell as the VW brand.
This ones for you Dad , miss you.

      • This is a truly huge moment. This passion you speak of has given you many experiences and friends, and we'd have no doubt not met if not for it.

I am sure your old man would be supremely proud of how far you have come as a car enthusiast, craftsman and also as a father and friend of many!

Here is to the excitement behind that next door you open!

              • Thanks for building it Alex. For many of us you have been an inspiration to what can be built if you have the imagination and talent to build one of the world's best MK1's. That you did it by yourself and made many of the exotic parts is a testament to your skills as a master fabricator. I tip my hat to you.

Must feel like one of your kids has grown up and left home.

Hope the new owner gives it the respect it is due.

                Cheers

Seems to have dropped off the radar, never to be seen since.
