  • Awesome, pretty much like your entire build really. I keep checking this thread out just for inspiration!

    Fair play on the gearbox, i got mine to this stage and thought enough was enough! Can't wait to see the pics of your motor finished! It will no doubt give our British top mk1's a serious run for their money! Keep up the good work!

              • not really a big fan of the bonnet pins at the moment but will reserve full judgement of them until i see the car 'done'.

                • With no slam panel i don't think there is any other option!

                  They are the best looking fixings I have seen simply because they dont look like racer-boy pins. stay classy sydney.

                  • The aerocatches are the way to go for the street.

                    Traditional bonnet pins won't get past a RWC these days as they're now being considered a a protrusion.

                    I think they can be painted too and there's an option with locks.

                          • gapped the front end and finished most of the smoothing on the front arches, sorted the mounting of the grill, and buttoned down placements in the interior
