      • She'll start but only if you put you foot to the floor and then only for a few seconds then die... mechanic said something about timing then promptly left saying he'll be back tomorrow.... then never came back. no biggie never charged me and left me a brand new battery, dads got a diesel mechanic mate that should be coming round to have a look soon.

            • It might have something to with air pressure inside the car, as I have no probs when there is a window open. VWs are meant to be air-tight but I doubt it's 100% given its age.
