    76 MkI 3 door swallowtail - 16v track car
76 MkI 3 door "long term" project

Oh i have always wnated one too...

Oh i know i have a strong love for caddy's ever since i saw one at the Nat's '97 i have fell in love... Unfortunatly i have only ever seen one... I oh so much want one so if any one knows of one lying there alone or wants to sell let me know... They are so hot... It would be perfect have my mountain bikes in the back rolling real low with a 1.8T and some black steelies in ivory it would be hot i could go on for hours about how much i like and want...

Check out www.vwcaddyforum.com I spend a fair bit of time on this site

The doors are the same as a 4 door golf. I reckon with a grinder, welder and a donor car and a ute back you could make one.

Gee XXX-1.8T, that was quick getting photos of today in the rain. Man it was slippery and more then a few times found myself pointing the wrong way at 130 kmh.Just couldn't get any power to the ground except down the straight and only managed to get to 160kmh. Fun fun fun!

I'm starting to warm to to look the Caddy.
From your description though, they sound like they handle like a Mini van in the wet - backwards
Probably for the same reason - no weight in the back to keep them on the ground...

130kph backwards? Good thing there's not much to hit at Wakefield,
although coming unglued in the kink at the end of the main straight might be dodgey
                              Got to get back there...
