        Sorry that I am slow to join the thread.

        My Campaign is Helios Blue and very original. It used to be registered as UKGOLF. Now on club plates.
        I think that a previous owner could clean it up really well and it won prizes at shows. Also featured in a number of publications.

        I've used it as a daily driver and now use it for fun - on interesting roads like the Great Ocean Rd.

                Not a member of any club at the moment , the gti will be registered with west Australian department of transport .

                          You didn't hang about with the purchase. Must have been the fastest sale of a MK1 ever.
