Og golf, sounds like you got done on that job. I hope you went back and raised merry hell. I`d do it when they were busy!

New bottom end or complete motor would be the go. I`d let you come here and do it if you were in sydders. Maybe take GolfMan`s spare motor.

Hope you get it sorted a Turbo Mk1 would be alright.

OK I'm considering the long and expensive task of turboing the mk2. Will a Corrado G60 ECU be the go or should I sack that idea and use Nissan etc fuel managament. It's $75 so could be a good buy?

You can use anything that can read positive boost of the right magnitude for the turbo you intend to use.

Access to the correct software to remap it is going to be a major consideration IMO.

I would imagine that there are plenty of Jap tuners in Australia capable of doing that with Japanese management.

This site belongs to a mate of mine that has a Turbo Technics MK1. Rated at 175hp when built. He can use a full tank in 80 miles

I have seen him chase a 968 Clubsport with it in the wet.

And the best for last, he uses std discs  I have no idea how he hasn't hit anything.

I would be well up to helping out with this project when I move down under.
